The 2019 edition

Museums & Stereotypes is an international and independent training school aimed at exploring the complex relationship between museums and stereotypes. Involving international speakers and institutions and combining lessons and workshops, the course will encourage an in-depth debate on challenging museum topics, facilitating informal networking and professional learning, from basic to advance level.

The second edition of Museums & Stereotypes Training School took place in Milan (Italy) from October 17 to 20, 2019.

– to deconstruct and understand social theories connected to stereotypes and bias in society and in museum settings
– to interrogate museum ethical issues, exploring social and cultural impacts of museums
